I've been neglecting my blog for all the wrong reasons. I haven't been painting as much as I would like to. You know, life seems to get in the way most of the time. So her goes a few pieces I've worked on. The first is a cell from my comic, Noob & Frag Issue 6. I've been jumping back and forth between Painter X and PS CS3. But for this one, I was experimenting with a new painting style. It was completed in about 2 hours entirely in Painter X. Screwing around with tones and values, I've learned a lot. The second is an old sketch from about 7 years ago. I decided to paint it entirely in PS CS3 using the airbrush. I added a bit of texture to the clothing. I spent about 4 hours on it, and I'm not very happy how it turned out. I kinda just guessed the lighting.
